Unlike standard gold plating, which is typically applied to materials like brass, gold vermeil offers exceptional strength and durability. While it is designed to maintain its brilliance, the gold layer may naturally fade or tarnish over time with regular wear.
Its longevity is affected by water, moisture, perspiration, cosmetics such as lotions and perfumes, chlorine, sulfur and other harsh chemicals. Remove your piece and store it safely in your Koemi Studio jewelry box before any activity that may expose it to these.
For cleaning, gently polish with a dry microfiber cloth to restore its luster.
