Orders

Opps I put the incorrect name/address, can I change the information?

Mistakes happen! Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Send us an email at hello@koemistudio.com with the updated information and we will do our best to amend it. All orders are shipped within 1-2 business day of placement. 

We are not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, or marked as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout. 

Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to make changes or reroute the package. If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply to resend it.

Materials/Care

Will my jewelry tarnish?

The longevity of your jewelry depends on the material it's made from. While all jewelry benefits from proper care, each material ages differently. You can find the material of your piece on its individual product page.

Brass

Our brass pieces are finished with either 18K gold plating or silver plating. Like all plated jewelry, they may naturally tarnish or experience wear over time, especially with frequent exposure to water, moisture, perfumes, lotions, sweat, and other environmental factors. To extend the life of your jewelry, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying beauty products.

Gold Vermeil

Gold Vermeil is made from solid 925 Sterling Silver coated in a thick layer of 18K gold. It offers greater durability than standard gold plating, but over time, the gold layer may naturally fade with regular wear. To keep your piece looking its best, avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.

Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver is a precious metal that can naturally tarnish when exposed to air, moisture, and everyday oils. This is completely normal and does not damage the jewelry. A quick polish with a silver polishing cloth will easily restore its original shine.

14K Gold

Our solid 14K gold pieces are designed to last a lifetime. Unlike plated jewelry, they won't lose their gold layer with wear. We recommend occasional cleaning with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth to keep your jewelry looking beautiful for years to come.

A note on everyday wear

No matter the material, a little care goes a long way. Storing your jewelry in a dry place and avoiding unnecessary exposure to water, chemicals, and abrasive surfaces will help preserve its shine and extend its lifespan.
